The girls and I are here in Kansas spending precious time with our family. We have enjoyed a Salt Museum, been to the Cosmosphere, we visited a wonderful shop with all kinds of Amish made candies, visited an Amish community, saw an Amish... wished I was Amish (for a while), visited family in Wichita (she knew all the great places to shop like the Spice Merchant!), and cuddled, snuggled, loved on, and fell asleep with sweet baby Hayden (my sisters baby boy). I find myself saying... There is no place like home, there is no place like home, there is no place like home. Click-click click (ruby red slipper)

I took all of these pictures by a sweet little town named Nickerson. I hope to make it back to take the girls pictures in sweet blue dresses.
The weather has been hot hot hot! Temps in the 100's. Today's temp was 110. While back home in Arkansas the temp was 85 but felt like 115!! I hope you all are staying cool and enjoying summer.
Blessings from Kansas to you

The sunflower field is just beautiful!! Glad you are enjoying your time with family. Nothing more precious than that! By the way, my first attempt at growing my tomatoes and peppers in a large container is working. I have so many green tomatoes and so far 6 peppers on the one pepper plant. I have two containers of tomatoes. I can't tell you how excited I am!! You were my inspiration after seeing your garden pictures. Thanks Mandie!!
Forgot to tell you that The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie!! Loved it as a child and now that I'm older...I'm still a child at heart!!
I have to tell you I live about 7 miles from where you took the pic's of the sunflowers~

Our son and his wife to by are going to have a sunflower and daisy theme for their reception. It would be awesome to have this many sunflowers around!! :)
